Most of the time he saves, he said, will go into his top-rated Fox News Channel show.<BR/><BR/>"The media business is getting more and more intense," O'Reilly said Thursday. "We've got to keep the TV show at the level we have it now, and that means more and more time to keep it competitive and fresh. I've been working 60, 65 hours a week and I just can't keep doing that."<BR/><BR/>Nationally, O'Reilly's radio show is carried on 430 stations, including WOR (710 AM) in New York. Talkers magazine estimates his weekly audience at more than 3.5 million, putting him in the national top 10, and while no official figures are available on advertising, executives close to the show described it as very profitable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318892095452258182.post-15293057798520544932008-12-07T11:23:00.000-08:002008-12-07T11:23:00.000-08:00With all due respect Sanford, I agree with JR. He had okay ratings in some markets, but not good enough to breakeven or make a profit. The owners were losing money. He wasn't willing to do what was necessary to make his show more successful (THANK GOD), and he wouldn't take a pay cut - they were paying him way too much. In the end he decided to let it fail. Any news to the contrary is just right wing spin. No matter what, it was HIS FAILURE! That makes me very HAPPY! Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, both replaced popular liberal talkers-first with wingtard mouthpieces, and then with sports talk and/or music when the 'tard talkers fell flat.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318892095452258182.post-12650847296430528882008-12-05T23:04:00.000-08:002008-12-05T23:04:00.000-08:00I am no fan of Billo, but I believe that his radio...I am no fan of Billo, but I believe that his radio show had pretty good ratings. It is certainly wrong to say he lost his radio show. As far as I know no one said any one was dropping his show.sanfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06580867647162091670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318892095452258182.post-44291867756293186092008-12-05T14:44:00.000-08:002008-12-05T14:44:00.000-08:00BillO is scum.
