Arlen Specter Cannot Be Trusted!

Good Evening Bloggers - I can't believe it, but according to The Huffington Post and New York Times Magazine, recent Republican/Democratic "mystery meat" Arlen Specter thinks Republican Norm Coleman should win his Senate recount court battle against Al Franken in Minnesota. What the &%$*!

"There's still time for the Minnesota courts to do justice and declare Norm Coleman the winner," Specter said.

Q: With your departure from the Republican Party, there are no more Jewish Republicans in the Senate. Do you care about that?

A: I sure do. There's still time for the Minnesota courts to do justice and declare Norm Coleman the winner.

Q: Which seems about as likely at this point as Jerry Seinfeld's joining the Senate.

A: Well, it was about as likely as my becoming a Democrat.

This is CRAP! Okay, I have enjoyed what Congressman Joe Sestak (D-PA) has said during interviews about why he should be our choice, and now I'm sold. Now I hope PA gets sold.

Let's try to help! I encourage all of you to visit Mr. Sestak's website right away to give MONEY and encouragement. I did!

It takes time for a guy to un-learn long-established habits of thought. Remember, ever since 2000, "for the.....courts to do justice" in Republican-speak has meant for the courts to award the victory to the candidate who got fewer votes than his opponent. Specter has at least begun the process of de-programming from the cult.

If you look at the receipt, I believe it says "exchange only -- no cash refunds". You'd end up with something really horrible like Sam Brownback.

Well said Infidel and Jim, but I've decided to ignore Specter the asshole and move on. The man's just an opportunistic Republican in Democratic clothing. GO SESTAK!

What a difference the outrage of such an attack is when it is done under a Barack Obama administration as opposed to GWB. Is that the “Change We Can believe in” … bias media reporting?

Drone_plane

For most of George W. Bush’s Presidency the LEFT wanted Bush to be brought up on war crimes for the killing of civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan. The question is will the LEFT now call Barack Obama a war criminal for killing civilians? So GWB is supposed to be tried for war crimes and Obama gets a pass? The recent US air strike that killed at least 20 people....I guess it is now OK to kill civilians und OBAMA's watch I believe people should demand that he be brought up on war crimes like they did with GWB.

White House: Obama wants to cut $17B from a $3.4 trillion budget.

The president went before the cameras Thursday to discuss his proposal for roughly 120 budget cuts totaling $17 billion — a sum that would be only about one-half of 1 percent of the $3.4 trillion budget that Congress has approved for next year...Obama must be fucking nuts calling this a substantial savings

True, this will do very little to alleviate the gigantic national debt inherited from Bush. Obama better go back to the drawing board and roll back those tax cuts for millionaires until the top tax rate is all the way back up where it was in Reagan's time.

But what does this have to do with Specter?

WASHINGTON – The White House official who authorized a $328,835 photo-op of Air Force One soaring above New York City resigned Friday just weeks after the flyover sparked panicked workers to rush into the streets and flashbacks to Sept. 11. Louis Caldera said the controversy had "made it impossible for me to effectively lead the White House Military Office," which is responsible for presidential aircraft.
My name is Anonymous and I approve this message"Moreover, it has become a distraction in the important work you are doing as president," Caldera wrote in his resignation letter to President Barack Obama.

An internal White House investigation found missed messages and portrayed an out-of-the-loop Caldera, clearly the administration's fall guy.
