See How They Spin Crap

Hello Bloggers! I thought you might also enjoy reading one of their absurd takes on climate change in this article from Climate Depot - a less than credible climate source.

The article is a great example of how they represent the facts on the right, which is to say WRONG! The entire website is a joke!

The scientist mentioned in the article has been discredited multiple times, and Congress believes him to be bought-and-paid-for like so most of the corporate scientists. The right is -of course - positioning him as a victim of left-wing closed-mindedness. What a freakin joke!

Michael why not give everyone Al Gore's background and the schooling that made him a expert on climate change, I think it would be interesting to see where this man gets his education.

DAVOS, Switzerland (AFP) — Czech President Vaclav Klaus took aim at climate change campaigner Al Gore on Saturday in Davos in a frontal attack on the science of global warming.

"I don't think that there is any global warming," said the 67-year-old liberal, whose country holds the rotating presidency of the European Union. "I don't see the statistical data for that."

Referring to the former US vice president, who attended Davos this year, he added: "I'm very sorry that some people like Al Gore are not ready to listen to the competing theories. I do listen to them.

"Environmentalism and the global warming alarmism is challenging our freedom. Al Gore is an important person in this movement."

Speaking on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, he said that he was more worried about the reaction to the perceived dangers than the consequences.

"I'm afraid that the current crisis will be misused for radically constraining the functioning of the markets and market economy all around the world," he said.

"I'm more afraid of the consequences of the crisis than the crisis itself."

Klaus makes no secret of his climate change scepticism -- he is also a fierce critic of the European Union -- and has branded the world's top panel of climate experts, the UN's IPCC, a smug monopoly.

Such fear of controversy is a widespread problem these days. The NIH refuses to amend cigarette warnings in the light of all the research generously funded by tobacco companies that shows smoking is safe. Medical schools blindly cling to dogmatic orthodoxy and ignore Leech Science. Sex education teachers are notoriously unwilling to even listen to arguments for the competing stork theory. WHY ARE THEY AFRAID OF OPEN DEBATE????

My goodness, the cowardly inbreds do like to spew their bullshit "anonymous." They do this because, of course, they have no coherent argument to make.

Their so-called "leader," the pedophile drug addict, sits on his nasty ass for 3 hours a day and spews bullshit that nobody is allowed to answer. His inbred admirers do THEIRS for free, because they're so pathetic that nobody would even think of paying them anything.

Anon - I HAVE studied both sides of the issue and discovered that the "opposition" is full of BS! They use absurd cycle theories and completely disregard reasonable data and overwhelming science. You are just WRONG! I think it's YOU who refuse to acknowledge the real science that Al Gore is supporting. I think it's YOU who is closed minded. I agree with you Infidel, it's CRAZY the way today's "conservatives" seem to cling to ridiculous "stork/creationism" type "theories" over real science. They often seem to disregard what the bulk of intelligent society considers investigated science/truth. :) Thanks for putting it so well. These people will mock us for promoting respectable theories yet won't even do their own homework to find out what's real - it's as if they like to believe crap. The whole thing is a big joke. They always resort to mocking good people like the President or Al Gore. JR, I agree they're pathetic - the problem is they never seem to figure it out. I guess ignorance really is bliss. Anon, unless you refrain from mocking and have a better scientific debate, as always I must conclude you're a closed-minded retard. MB
